Training on Smart Performance Appraisal Report Recording Online Window (SPARROW) for IAS Officers of Odisha

The training programme on e-PAR has been organised for IAS officers of Odisha from 3rd March 2014 to 6th March 2014 at Secretariat as well as at NIC State Centre Bhubaneswar. The District Collectors have been given training through VC.
Government of India has introduced online filing of Performance Appraisal Report (PAR), for IAS officers from the current assessment year, 2013-14 with Odisha as the Pilot state. It is developed by NIC(HQ) with the active leadership of Ms. Suchitra Pyrellal, STD and Mr S. N. Sowpari, STD, DoPT, and will be applicable from the current assessment year 2013-14.
The online filing of Performance Appraisal Report (PAR) will bring more efficiency and transparency, avoid loss of such reports during transition, ensure better monitoring and timely completion of performance appraisal evaluation process. 
Chief Secretary and Senior IAS officers were imparted training at Secretariat which was attended by Mr. Nirvesh from NIC(HQ).
The test trial is completed and now 2nd round of trial run will commence.
