Today, on 18 February 2026, the Hon’ble Shri Tank Ram Verma, Minister – Revenue & Disaster Management, Rehabilitation & Higher Education Department, Government of Chhattisgarh, formally launched the Digital Kisan Kitab. This initiative marks a significant step toward providing modern, simple, and fast services to the farmers of the state.
Developed by NIC Chhattisgarh, the Digital Kisan Kitab will now replace the traditional manual Kisan Kitab, enabling farmers to access their land-related information anytime and from anywhere.
Key Features of the Digital Kisan Kitab
1. Availability on the Bhuiyan Portal
The Digital Kisan Kitab will now be available on the Bhuiyan portal along with the B-1 and P-II reports. Farmers can easily view and download it as per their requirement.
2. Automatic Update Facility
All necessary details in the Digital Kisan Kitab will be automatically updated from the Bhuiyan portal. This eliminates the need for farmers to visit offices for information corrections.
3. Digitally Signed Certified Copy
The Kisan Kitab will be digitally signed by the concerned Patwari, making it even easier for farmers to obtain a certified copy.
Through the Digital Kisan Kitab, the Government of Chhattisgarh has taken another important step toward providing transparent, accessible, and technology-enabled services to farmers.
