Standardised Portal Of Sambalpur District Inaugurated

The Standardised District Portal of Sambalpur (http://sambalpur.nic.in/ http://oddistricts.nic.in) - a pilot project of india.gov.in under the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) was inaugurated by Shri Amarnath Pradhan, honourable MP (Loksabha), Sambalpur today at 10.00 AM in a district level meeting organized by the District Administration at DRDA conference hall, Sambalpur. Speaking on the occasion Hon`ble MP explained about the benefit of the new Standardised District Portal of Sambalpur and use of Information & Technology in day to day activities in district administration.

Collector & DM Shri Balwant Singh, IAS  shared that an effort has been made by the district administration for wider dissemination of information on various developmental schemes for benefit of general public and making the administration people centric. He further stated that general people can visit the website for availing various services.

Portal is designed and developed by NIC Odisha State Centre, the team constitute of Dr. R.N. Behera, Sr Technical Director with advise from  Shri Susant Kumar Panda, Dy. Director General, NIC Odisha under the guidance of Data Centre and Web Services Division, NIC(HQ), New Delhi.

Speaking on the occassion Dr. R.N. Behera, Senior Technical Director, NIC, Odisha State Centre, Bhubaneswar explained about National Portal of India and origin services provided by the single window system standardized District Portal of Sambalpur.

The portal contains vital information on the district, various government offices and line departments executing various developmental schemes and services.

Among others, Addl. District Magistrate Shri Madhab Chandra Bariha, Senior Officers of District Administration, NIC Odisha State Centre  and others were also present on the occasion.

The programme was organized and coordinated by District Informatics Officer,NIC,Sambalpur Shri Rudra Prasad Dash , Shri. Sambit Panda, Scientist-D, NIC, Bhubaneswar, Shri Neetesh Ch. Khatry, Deg Co-ordinator and Shri Narayan Ch. Sethi, DIPRO–cum- Nodal Officer of District Portal,Sambalpur.
