Public Facilitation Centre & Biometric Attendance System - Inaugurated at Jagatsinghpur District, Odisha

Inauguration of PFC

The PUBLIC FACILITATION CENTRE (PFC) & initiation of BIOMETRIC ATTENDANCE SYSTEM has been inaugurated by Shri Sangram Keshari Mishra, IAS, Principal Secretary, PG&PA Department, Govt. of Odisha during the occasion of PENSION LOKADALAT held on 17-11-2014, in presence of Shri Satya Kumar Mallick, Collector & District Magistrate, Jagatsinghpur.

The CENTRE has been dedicated to general public for facilitation as a single window access point to obtain various electronic certificates like Resident Certificate, Caste Certificate, Income Certificate, Legal Heir Certificate & Solvency Certificate etc. after depositing prescribed user fees within stipulated time frame as fixed by RTPS.

It is also decided to extend government services like Registration of Marriage, Nationality Certificate, Society Registration, Opera Permission, RTI, CM Relief Fund, Red Cross Assistance, Encumbrance Certificate, Benchmark Valuation etc. In addition, public can avail Online Support on filing of e-Abhiyog, e-Scholarship, Accessing Examination Results, application for Passport / PAN / DL, accessing Judicial Information (Judgments /Cause lists), Application forms for different public services, Document Printing & Scanning, e-Procurement (Uploading of Tender) etc. Once the delivery of identified services is streamlined, more services are under pipelining to be implemented in next coming days through the PFC.

To ensure punctuality and discipline among the officials working in District & Sub Collector Office, Biometric Attendance System has been launched.  This is envisioned to make the administrative mechanism more prompt and efficient and enabled to deliver public services in time.

The entire event was organized by active support and guidance of Shri Satya Kumar Mallick, Collector & Shri Saran Kumar Jena, ADM. Shri Bibhuti Bhusan Rout, DIO, NIC, coordinated the event and briefed about the purpose of functioning of PFC.

Shri Bikash Ranjan Nayak, ADIO, Shri Aurobinda Acharya, DeGS Manager, Shri Abhaya Kumar Rout, EDM and officials of NIC & DeGS extended all technical support to make this unique initiative of District Administration a success.
