The 15th Rojgar Mela under the Government of India’s employment initiative was held on April 26, 2025 with the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi distributing appointment letters to newly recruited government employees across the country through video conferencing. The event began at 11:00 AM and was simultaneously held at various centres nationwide, including Deen Dayal Upadhyay Auditorium, Raipur, where it was organized by the Income Tax Department.
Addressing the new recruits virtually, Prime Minister Modi congratulated them and emphasized the role of youth in building a strong and self-reliant India. “This is not just a job offer—it is an opportunity to serve the nation with pride and commitment. You are joining the engine that drives the country’s development,” said the Prime Minister.
The Rojgar Mela aims to fill vacancies across various central government departments and public sector undertakings, helping streamline recruitment and provide timely employment to deserving candidates.
At the Raipur venue, senior officials from the Income Tax Department and other dignitaries were present to personally hand over the appointment letters to the selected candidates after the Prime Minister's address. The auditorium was filled with a sense of pride and joy as the recruits—many accompanied by their family members received their appointment letters.
Several appointees expressed their gratitude and pledged to contribute meaningfully to the country’s governance and development. One of the recruits said,“It feels like a dream come true. Receiving the letter in such a grand programme is a proud moment for me and my family.”
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and a cultural presentation, reflecting the vibrant spirit of Chhattisgarh and the enthusiasm of India’s youth workforce.
The Rojgar Mela continues to be a key part of the Central Government’s mission to empower the youth and strengthen public service delivery through timely and transparent recruitment.
