Launching of Dynamic Portal of Odisha State Election Commission

State Election Commissioner inaugurated the portal

The dynamic portal of Odisha State Election Commission (http://secodisha.nic.in ) is launched by the State Election Commissioner, Odisha, Sri R. N. Senapati, IAS, on dt-04.01.2017 at the Conference Hall of Commission’s Office, Bhubaneswar in the presence of Sri P. K. Pramanik, DDG & SIO, Odisha, Sri S. K. Mohapatra, STD, Dr. R. N. Behera, STD, Sri K. C. Pattnaik, PSA, Secretary, Addl. Secretary, Jt. Secretary and Law Officer of the Commission and other officials.

Inaugurating the portal, the State Election Commissioner expressed his happiness and congratulated NIC team to develop the portal within a short period of time. He opined that the portal will facilitate in easy and faster access of voters list, searching the name, sending complaints to commission.

Demonstrating the portal, Dr R N Behera briefed that NIC Odisha State centre has taken a laudable step in the development of the bilingual portal (English and Odia) as the Gram Panchayat Elections is declared in the state.

The dynamic portal is developed using open source technologies Java and PgSql by Dr R N Behera, STD as Team Leader, Sri K. C. Pattnaik, PSA, as team member under the guidance of Sri P. K. Pramanik, DDG & SIO, NIC, Odisha.
