Two days training programme was organized on information dissemination of Panchayati Raj Institutions through National Panchayat Portal (http://panchayat.gov.in/panchayathar) for Data Entry Operators posted at Zila Parishads of Haryana at Haryana Panchayat Bhawan, Chandigarh from 08/11/2011 to 09/11/2011.
The event was conducted jointly by Director, Panchayats, Govt. of Haryana and NIC, Haryana State Centre, Chandigarh. About twenty participants from various Zila Parishads of Haryana participated in the training programme.
During the training Mr. Parvinder Singh, Scientist B, NIC, Haryana State Centre, gave detailed presentation on National Panchayat Portal. The process to manage the contents of Panchayati Raj Institutions on National Panchayat Portal was also showcased with live demonstration to participants. A demo site was used to showcase the process of publishing the contents. After demonstration, hands-on and Q&A session was also conducted.
In the concluding session, participants and officials involved from Directorate, Panchayats, Govt. of Haryana appreciated the efforts made by NIC, Haryana State Centre.
