CM Dashboard launched by Hon'ble Chief Minister, Nagaland on 13th Aug. 2018

Chief Minister’s Dashboard (https://nl.cmdashboard.nic.in) was launched on Monday, the 13th August, 2018 at the Secretariat Conference Hall of Nagaland by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Nagaland, Shri Neiphiu Rio, in a program which also included the launch of eNPS system of the Finance Department of Govt. of Nagaland.

The program was chaired by Shri Temjen Toy, IAS, Chief Secretary, Govt. of Nagaland. The launch program commenced with an Invocation Prayer by Rev. Kuzierang Thou, State Chaplain.

Commissioner & Secretary to the Chief Minister, Shri Abhishek Singh, IAS, delivered the welcome address and also deliberated upon some of the projects and schemes onboard the CM’s Dashboard. The launch program was graced by the presence of Director General (DG), NIC, Mrs. Neeta Verma, Sh. D. C Misra, DDG, NIC-HQ, Sh. I. P. S. Sethi, DDG, NIC-HQ, and Sh. Ajay Gopal Bhartariya, Sr. Technical Director, PMU-DARPAN, NIC Lucknow (State Unit), Uttar Pradesh, via Video Conference. The DG NIC in her address has congratulated the Hon’ble CM and his government on the launch of the Dashboard and briefed on various Digital Governance services of NIC along with the service of the CM Dashboard. She pointed out that the CM Dashboard provides a finished record of all the important programs and schemes of the government. The advantages of the service, she said was that it enables one to use the program with their own indicators, benchmark and customization. She urged the Government of Nagaland to consider in approving the district-wise dashboard down the line for a single window where they could get an access to all the programs and performance at the district level also.

The SIO, NIC, Sh. Hemanta Kr. Saikia also gave a Power Point presentation in the programme. In his presentation he said that because of the challenges involved in putting analytical data comprehensively together in a single window, and also since manual collection of data are prone to errors, there was the need to have a comprehensive Single Window Interface website where the KPIs of various projects/schemes implemented in the State are reflected for Efficient and Transparent monitoring by the government on the press of a button.

On launching the CM Dashboard, Hon’ble Chief Minister urged all to work and contribute towards this initiative in a constructive manner. The Chief Minister pointed out that currently there are 22 schemes of 11 state government departments only in the Dashboard, and so the other departments would also follow the suit. The CM congratulated the DG, NIC and Nagaland State Centre officials for their valuable support to his government. The Chief Minister was accompanied by the Deputy Chief Minister, Sh Y Patton and his other Cabinet colleagues of the government. Chair of the program, Shri Temjen Toy, IAS, Chief Secretary, Nagaland congratulated NIC and thanked DG, NIC Mrs. Neeta Verma, D C Misra, DDG for attending and addressing the gathering of the progarmme. He concluded the session with a brief remark on the launch of the two important projects.
