One-Day Training programme - cum - workshop was organized on 01.12.2012 on PRERANA in the Conference Hall of Collectorate, Sambalpur for all Institutes of the district. The Principals and Nodal Officers from 53 institutions out of 88 of the district attended the workshop.
Welcoming the 91 participants of the workshop Shri Krupasindhu Behera, DWO, Sambalpur insisted to actively participate and make the project a great success in the current academic year 2012-13 as was done in the previous academic year 2011-12. He also intimated the extension of date for institutes as declared by the department.
Shri R. P. Dash, Scientist-D -cum- DIO, NIC Sambalpur District Unit, presented various modules available on the PRERANA portal for providing scholarship to the students of ST/SC/OBC/SEBC. He stressed the institutes to use the renewal process which is incorporated in the system for the academic year 2012-13.
Shri S P Dash, Scientist-D of NIC Odisha State Unit joined the workshop as the resource person from State PRERANA team. He gave the detail presentation and live demonstration on various types of renewal cases along with the case study as requested by the participants.
Participants raised their doubts on various technical as well as administrative issues in the interactive session which were discussed thoroughly and answered.
