Manav Sampada - State of Art Personnel Management Information System developed by National Informatics Centre, Himachal Pradesh has been awarded "Award of Sustenance". Initially the software was developed for Department of Personnel, Himachal Pradesh and implemented in the state to maintain Electronic Service Book of all employees. This software was earlier awarded with "Award of Excellence" in the year 2012 by CSI-Nihilent. Manav Sampada product model has thereafter been developed and rolled out in 15 States covering 576 Departments. Many union government departments are also interested in implementing the solution and are at various stages of implementation.
MDM - ARMS (Mid Day Meal Automated Reporting and Management System) software has been developed by NIC Himachal Pradesh for MHRD, GoI. The beauty of the application is its simplicity. All the schools serving Mid Day Meal are reporting the monthly enrolment and daily meals served figures using SMS from their registered mobiles. Mobile numbers are mapped with the schools to reflect these figures against the relevant school. The application is augmented with a mobile app for android users to send monthly and daily figures using internet as well as SMS facility without remembering the SMS formats to be followed. The mobile app also helps Block, District and State Administrators to effectively monitor the daily data transmission and send alerts to users, if required. The software was first implemented in the state of Himachal Pradesh and now it has been adopted by 18 more states in the country. MDM - ARMS has been awarded "CSI-Nihilent Award of Recognition 2017".
