A training programme on IWMP-MIS (Integrated Watershed Management Programme-MIS) was conducted for the district level and block level officers of IWMP, Alappuzha by NIC Kerala State Centre on 30/07/2013 over Video Conferencing. Ms. Parvathy Devi, DIO, Alappuzha welcomed the participants. The IWMP-MIS State project coordinator Ms. M. Kasthuri, Technical Director explained about the IWMP and the role of ICT in implementation part and demonstrated the overall features of the project. Ms. Deepa Abraham, Systems Analyst demonstrated the IWMP-MIS work flow model at district, block and Watershed committee level.
IWMP-MIS is a work flow based on-line application for implementing the IWMP project at WCDC (District), PIA (Block) and Watershed Committee level. 40 participants attended the program through VC.
