The Skoch Order of Merit-Digital Inclusion was conferred on 6 software Projects developed and implemented by NIC Himachal Pradesh. These Orders of Merit were conferred in the Conference on Digital India during the 37th Skoch Summit (19th-20th September 2014) in India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The Orders of Merit were received by the NIC Himachal Pradesh team.
The brief information of the Projects, which have been conferred with the Skoch Order of Merit, is as following:
LokParman Patra: The LokPraman Patra is a simple but effective work flow based online solution for issuance of 14 types of certificates. The software has been developed with the aim to simplify the process of issuance of certificate in an easy and speedy way.
Manav Sampada (Human Resource Management System): Manav Sampada-a green governance tool for Human Resource Management, has brought a breakthrough in managing human resources in Government efficiently and effectively. It is not only the solution to manpower planning but its integration with 15 more applications extended its ambit to various other Government G2G,G2E and G2C services.
Inter-operable Criminal Justice System (ICJS): The Interoperable Criminal Justice System (ICJS) has been developed for speedy Justice by facilitating the data-exchange between the Courts, Police / Prosecution, Jails and the Forensic Labs.
eGazette: The Electronic Gazette (eGazette) or Online RajPatra is a work flow based application software system, result of a major Government process re-engineering, which includes the process reforms and optimization of the complete system and its processes of publishing of Rajpatra.
eSamadhan: eSamadhan is a citizen-centric, web-enabled and work-flow based system developed by National Informatics Centre (NIC) Himachal Pradesh for automation, standardization and uniformity of the grievance redressal in all departments of Himachal Pradesh. eSamadhan has been implemented by the Department of Redressal of Public Grievances (RPG) in coordination with NIC Himachal Pradesh.
Integrated Finance Management System (HimKosh): IFMS has facilitated effective, accountable and transparent Public Finance Management with the help of latest Information and Communication Tools. The main objective is to achieve computerization of the state wide financial transactions, efficient monitoring and single window interface across various functional stakeholders.
All the projects have been implemented below district level in all Districts of Himachal Pradesh and the technical support in training, feedback and implementation has been crucial to the successful implementation and running of these Projects over the years.
