Launch of Voter Saathi Chatbot by Hon'ble Election Commission of India

Hon’ble Election Commission of India, during the Himachal Pradesh visit from 22-Sep-2022 to 24-Sep-2022, launched the Voter Saathi Chatbot on the Chief Electoral Officer, HP website. Sh. Rajiv Kumar, Chief Election Commissioner and Sh. Anup Chandra Pandey, Election Commissioner launched this important initiative to facilitate the voters of Himachal Pradesh state in the forthcoming Assembly Elections.
 

The Voter Saathi chatbot answers the queries of citizens in both English and Hindi. The Voter Saathi answers queries of new, overseas, existing, Persons with Disability and service electors. It also informs the procedure to lodge election related complaints. In addition, information about the political parties, contesting candidates, BLOs, polling stations GIS maps etc is made available in an interactive manner.

Sh. Maneesh Garg, Chief Electoral Officer, Himachal Pradesh appreciated the work done by NIC Himachal Pradesh in converting the website to open source technology and adding the Voter Saathi chatbot which will be very useful to voters as they will be able to get election related information in an interactive manner. They can search for their polling booth, booth officer, their elector details through Voter Saathi.

The Voter Saathi chatbot has been developed by NIC Himachal Pradesh and is part of the newly designed CMS based website of the Chief Electoral Officer, HP website at https://ceohimachal.nic.in. The CEO Himachal Pradesh website is very useful and contains almost all information required by citizens and contesting candidates.
