Subsequent to the trainings that were imparted to seven Districts of Assam after the pilot implementation, KRITAGYATA had reached a milestone of distributing 114 number of PPOs (Pension Payment Orders) on the next day of retirement to the retirees of the above districts of Assam. With an aim to cover remaining districts, an orientation cum training programme on KRITAGYATA was held on 9th and 10th February ‘2021 at Assam Administrative Staff College for the officials who had been given an initial orientation through Video Conferencing on 22nd January 2021 to bring an awareness about the KRITAGYATA.
The training programme was held in two batches covering all the districts in a two-day programme covering a total of 144 participants. An official advertisement in this regard had also been given in the local dailies by the Govt of Assam on 8th February 2021.
On the first day of the training the Inspector of Schools / Dy. Inspectors of Schools/District Elementary Education Officers / were present along with officials of IS/DI/DEEO. The officials were shown all modules of KRITAGYATA and its work flow. The role of DDO and Head Office were shown to the officials and training on demo site through hands-on were also imparted to the participants in the IT Laboratory of Assam Administrative Staff College.
The Honourable Minister of Pension and Public Grievances Assam, Shri Phani Bhushan Choudhury, was highly appreciative of the proactive role played by NIC. Sri V.S. Bhaskar, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary was also present and expressed his sincere thanks to the Pension and Public Grievances Department for taking efforts towards the training arrangement and expressed his sincere gratitude to NIC for taking steps towards on-boarding remaining districts under KRITAGYATA.
The Hon’ble Minister during his visit on 9th February’2021 at the training laboratory of Assam Administrative Staff College has expressed his satisfaction while interacting with the participants. He has also directed all the officials of the Districts to send pension cases of February 2021 through KRITAGYATA only.
SIO, NIC Assam, Mrs. Suchitra Pyarelal in her speech expressed the importance of an online system and expressed her satisfaction about the large and enthusiastic attendance. She also told that Kritagyata will be implemented across the State in a time bound manner.
SIO Assam while interacting with the participants about the orientation cum training programme on Kritagyata, suggested that the participants should practice with each role as defined in the application on a case to case basis with the help of demo site which is made available for practice.
The Additional Chief Secretary, P & PG Department, Government of Assam during his visit on second day of the training, 10th February 2021, addressed the participants about the Kritagyata Journey and appreciated the efforts that NIC has taken to on-board all the District Offices under Kritagyata.
He had interacted with the participants and taken their views about the System. He was happy to listen to the feedback from the participants that they have been taught about the System thoroughly and it will enable easy implementation.
