The Workshop-cum-Training programme was organised jointly by NIC Hassan district centre and SP Office, SB Branch under the guidance of Sh. Chandrasekar S. P, Senior Technical Director, NIC-KSU, Bangalore and IVFRT Project State Coordinator to implement C-Form, S-Form and C-FRO Modules under IVFRT-MMP at Hassan District of Karnataka State. These training programme was conducted for FRO Officials and SB Branch police staff of all the police stations coming under the jurisdiction of Superintendent of Police, Hassan. Also, Institutions administrative staffs, Hotel staff and Managers had attended the training programme.
The Programme was inaugurated by Police Inspector Sh. Nataraj on behalf of SP, Hassan on 17th July 2013 at SP Office Conference Hall, Hassan. NIC official Sh. Anandathirtha B R, SSA, NIC-KSU, IVFRT Project Team Member presented PPT on topics like Overview of IVFRT-Mission Mode Project, Web based Online registration procedure for C-Form, S-Form, Submission and Registration of Hotel/ Dharamshala/ Institute/ Guest House, Application Processing of online services like Foreigner Registration, VISA Extension, EXIT Permit etc., Dynamic reports, FSIS Modules in detail along with various salient features of these applications. Also, the PRC (Prior Referral Check) Software module was explained to the staff of SP Office, Hassan.
The main objective of the workshop-cum-training programme was to create awareness amongst the Hoteliers and FRO officials on IVFRT Modules. C-Form and S-Form is one of the very important Application Module of IVFRT-MMP which intends online submission of every foreigner’s stay details by Hoteliers for their tracking whereas FRO module provides online services like Foreigner Registration, VISA Extension, Exit Permit etc., In the inaugural session, it was made clear to the participants that the need for mandatory requirement of on-line submission of foreigners’ stay details as per the Govt. of India MHA notification and Bureau of Immigration directions.
Overall the workshop was very successful and interactive. All the queries raised by the participants were cleared by the NIC team and SB Branch Officials clarified their doubts on various issues pertaining to foreigners section. The training programme was attended by around 50 people including SP Office staff.
