A two day stakeholders’ appreciation seminar on Integrated Financial Management System (IFMS), was conducted on the 17-18th of November, 2016. The seminar was inaugurated at Hotel Holiday Home (HHH), Shimla by Shri Ram Mohan Johri, the Principal Accountant General (Audit). The event was organized by the office of Accountant General (Accounts and Entitlement), Himachal Pradesh. The seminar revolved around the change management pertaining to the different stakeholders in view of the implementation of Integrated Financial Management System and Goods and Service Tax (GST).
The NIC gave the overall presentation on “HimKosh- Integrated Financial Management System”. Sh Ajay Singh Chahal, SIO & STD Himachal Pradesh explained the expected outcomes from different stakeholders from the IFMS and discussed the future roadmap of IFMS. Sh. Vijay Kumar Gupta, Scientist-D, Group Head discussed about the outcomes of various IFMS components and how these are integrated at the back-end with work-flow solutions and how the AG office can best use the data.
The event was attended by officers of AG Himachal Pradesh led by Shri Kulwant Singh AG (A&E). The team from Treasuries, Accounts and Lotteries was led by Additional Director, Shri Deepak Bhardwaj and the Deputy Directors, District Treasury officers of the State Government attended the seminar.
During the two days seminar, a number of presentations were delivered by participants on eSalary, eBills, eVitran, ePension, eKuber and draft treasury rules to make the participants aware of the various IFMS modules.
Sh. Kulwant Singh, Accountant General (A and E) gave an overview of the expected IT audit related issues which may come up during such audit in near future and how best to address these concerns.
The valediction of the seminar was chaired by Dr. Srikant Baldi, the Additional Chief Secretary (Finance), Himachal Pradesh.
