Two-day workshop on E-Procurement for the officers of Orissa Hydro Power Corporation Ltd (OHPC) in NIC Bhubaneswar

OHPC is Government of Orissa Undertaking and has its units for Hydro Power generation in the most remote parts of the state. Based on its requirement of both the works and goods procurement through e-tendering mode, NIC and State Procurement Cell, Govt. of Orissa organized a two-day workshop on E-Procurement for the officers of Orissa Hydro Power Corporation Ltd in NIC Bhubaneswar on 5th and 6th May 2011 jointly.
 
The workshop was formally inaugurated by SIO & STD, NIC Orissa Shri S. K. Panda in presence of Shri Sahadev Khatua, MD, OHPC Ltd and Shri A. K. Hota, Technical Director & Head,
E-Procurement Division of NIC.
 
While addressing the participants
Shri S. K. Panda, SIO & STD highlighted the achievements during last three years of successful run of E-Procurement in Orissa and how the Government of Orissa has been proactively supporting the project.
 
Shri A.K.Hota in his address asked the participants to utilize the two-day training programme to learn the process flow and provide useful feedback to enrich GePNIC further.  OHPC units and divisional officers from all over Orissa attended the two days workshop.
