The one day Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) MIS Application workshop cum training program was held at VC Conference hall in the New Secretariat Complex where Smt. Ahola Those, Secretary Urban Development Department, Govt. of Nagaland was invited as Chief Guest. The meeting was chaired by Shri Kezungulo Medikhru, Technical Director & State Informatics Officer (SIO), NIC, Govt . of India. The introductory & brief outline of the SBM was given by him and the Secretary (Urban Development) outlined the departmental progress on SBM and the main objective of SBM. The MIS application was explained by Shri Sanjay Pandey, Scientist “C”, NIC & OSD, Municipal Affairs Deptt., Kohima. The meeting was also attended by SBM Mission Directorate Nodal Officer Shri Tarachu Fithu, Deputy Director, Directorate of Urban Development Department and other UD IT officials. The State Co-ordinator of Common Service Centre (CSC) Ms. Akumla Aier and her CSC team also attended. The District Informatics Officers (DIO) who could not attend the meeting physically were linked through Video Conferencing and training was imparted. The District Level training program shall be organized on 10/02/2016 in the respective NIC District Centres for the Administrator of Urban Local Bodies with the respective Deputy Commissioner as chief guest.
