Sh. Ravi Shanker Prasad, Honble Minister for Electronics & IT and Law & Justice and Dr. Dinesh Sharma, Dy. Chief Minister, UP launch eSathi, Uttar Pra

The e-Saathi Mobile Application was launched by Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, Hon’ble Minister of Law and Justice and Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India and Shri Dinesh Sharma, Deputy CM Government of UP on 22nd February, the second day of the UP Investors Summit 2018 It can be downloaded from Google playstore as well as e-District portal (http://edistrict.up.nic.in).

e-Sathi has been designed and developed by National Informatics Centre, Uttar Pradesh, it works as the frontend Mobile App for availing the eDistrict services in the state. eDistrict is a ‘Government-to-Citizen’ initiative under Digital India which is extending government services at the door step of citizen, ranging from certificates, pensions, ration card, employment registration etc. Now, citizens need not go anywhere for availing these e-District’s services, they can avail them through eSathi App on their smart phones anytime and anywhere. The system is fully automated with 100% electronic workflow – right from submission of application to final delivery of service/ certificate. As of now, the Mobile App allows 30 services out of 135 being offered by eDistrict.

The eSathi mobile app has brought about a radical change in the delivery of government services to the citizens by extending numerous facilities like online verification of certificates over the mobile on the basis of QR code or by using the combination of certificate ID and application number printed on the certificate; facilitating online status tracking of application etc. To enhance the efficiency of the system the app has been integrated with PAYGOV for payment of service charges and with MSDG for SMS Gateway bringing all the related requirements on the mobile platform.
