Sensitization Program-cum-Launching of IVFRT-MMP Project at FRO Angul, Odisha

In the mission of State Wide implementation of IVFRT project in the state of Odisha, a Workshop-cum-Inaugural function was organized by DIG, North Central Range, Talcher on 11th Nov 2014 for North Central Police Range at Police Training College Conference Hall, Angul. The event witnessed participation of Hotels, Institutes and District Informatics Officers of NIC from 3 Districts namely Angul, Dhenkanal and Deogarh & FRO / DIB representatives coming under the purview of DIG, North Central Range, Talcher.

At the outset Shri C.S.Pradhan OPS-I, Vice Principal, Police Training College, Angul welcome all the participants present in the workshop. Shri Subrat Kumar Chatterjee, TD & DIO, NIC, Angul gave a brief note on IVFRT Project and its importance in National Security Level. Shri C.S.Pradhan, OPS-I, Vice Principal, PTC, Angul presided over the conference and strongly urged the stakeholders to migrate to the online IVFRT system and make use of the services.

NIC team consisting of Shri Subrat Kumar Chatterjee, TD&DIO Angul, Shri Avinash Mishra NIC, IVFRT, Bhubaneswar and Mrs. Sasmeeta Sabat, IVFRT State Coordinator gave presentation and detail demonstration on this important Central Mission Mode Project and its various modules like C-FRO, C-FORM and S-FORM and handled the query raised by participants. Hoteliers present were trained about the Registration systems with completion of few cases during the programme with online spot registration.

The workshop witnessed generation of first online certification through C-FRO module and the FRO officials were trained details about the Foreigners Registration System .

At the end of the Workshop, Shri Prakash Chandra Parida, DSP, DIB, Angul gave vote of thanks & assured to support successful implementation of IVFRT Pilot Project at FRO, Angul.
