A five day training programme from 29-08-2011 to 02-09-2011 for capacity building of field staff from Mamlatdar & Land Survey Office Daman & Diu was organized under National Land Records Modernization Programme (NLRMP). The capacity building training was sponsored by Department of Land Resources (DOLR), Govt. of India, Ministry of Rural Development. A broad range of modern technologies related to land survey and record keeping tasks were introduced to the participants. Course content was qualitatively rich.
Participants have sincerely attended training sessions and did hands on in the field. Participants were so enthusiastic that they have not bunked training even on public holiday!
Domain experts Shri Venkatesh (PSA- NIC HQ - Delhi), Prof. Garg (IIT-Roorkey), Shri Rambir Yadav & Shri Shivam Gupta (Shotam Instruments Pvt. Ltd. ) have lucidly imparted highly informative technical knowledge. On the concluding day Hon. Collector (Daman) Shri Manoj Kumar Sahoo & State Informatics Officer (DD & DNH) Shri S. A. Khuba distributed certificates to the participants. Training was facilitated and coordinated by Officers of NIC-Daman Shri Utpal Mehta (DIO) & Shri Nitin Bamania (DIA).
