The launching of Vahan 4.0 and Sarathi 4.0 was held on the 19th of June, 2018 at the
premises of the District Transport Officer, Dimapur, for the State of Nagaland.
The program was held successfully. The inauguration / Launching was done by a Citizen of
the district in line with the Vahan 4.0 and Sarathi 4.0 being Citizen services centric.
The program was attended by District Transport officials from other Districts of Nagaland,
District Administration, Stake holders: Insurance agencies, Dealers, Bankers, Police and
Traffic Officials, and general public.
The Transport Commissioner, Shri. Elias Lotha in his keynote address, thanked the NIC team
for the unflinching support right from the beginning of inception of Vahan 2.0 and Sarathi 1.0
in the state of Nagaland.
Shri. Hemanta Kumar Saikia, SIO, Nagaland addressed the Department as well as the invitees
on the importance of Vahan 4.0 and Sarathi 4.0 and the support NIC is rendering to the
Transport Department.
A PPT Presentation on the Sailent features of Vahan 4.0 and Sarathi 4.0 as well as a feel of
the Online information of the District Transport Office of Dimapur on the portal
parivahan.gov.in was presented and introduced during the launching program.
