Mizoram district Level workshop on IVFRT and NDAL projects in Saiha and Lawngtlai district

Recently two full day district level workshop cum training was organized in two districts of Mizoram, Saiha about 368km and Lawngtlai about 296km distant from the state capital Aizawl. This was our first workshop in districts other than Aizawl. 

State Home Department in association with NIC state center, Mizoram and FRO, Aizawl have organized this workshop which covers both the IVFRT and NDAL project. The main importance in the workshop was to train the representatives from Hotel/Guest House/Institution about online CFORM, SFORM and its importance, also to investigate on the progress and difficulties faced by department for entering data in NDAL online system.  

 

On 5th of December we organized the training at DC Conference Hall, Saiha in presence of 36 members from different Hotels / Institution / Guest House located in the districts. The program was chaired by Mr. Lalbiakzama, Addl.  Secretary, Home Department, Mizoram, Mr. John LT Sanga, Addl. DC of Saiha District and Mr. David H.Lalthangliana OSD-cum-Under Secy., Home Department.

On the following day i.e. 6th of December we organized the training at DC Conference Hall, Lawngtlai in presence of 8 members from different Hotels / Institution / Guest House located in the districts. The program was chaired by Mr. Lalbiakzama, Addl. Secretary, Home Department, Mizoram, Mr. R Lalsangluaia, Addl. DC of Lawngtlai District and Mr. David H.Lalthangliana OSD-cum-Under Secy., Home Department, Mizoram .

Mr. David H.Lalthangliana who is also the state Nodal officer for the IVFRT and NDAL project delivered an inspiring speech to the audiences and also gave an overview of the IVFRT project and its implementations in Mizoram in both English and local Mizo language.  

After the inspiring speech by Mr. David H. Lalthangliana, Mr. R Lalsangzuala, representative of FRO,Aizawl briefed the participants regarding the policies, penalties and overview of the online system with his speech in English and Local Mizo language for better understanding of the participants. 

Mr. Krishnendu Das, Scientific Officer, NIC and IVFRT state coordinator of Mizoram along with Mr. H V Rochungnunga, Scientific Officer, NIC was the main resource person during the workshop. They gave a detail presentation to the participants on both CFORM and SFORM on-line system. They also gave all the required technical detail and guidelines how to work with the on-line system properly.

After the workshop there was a meeting organized with the DC of the respective districts and their representatives for discussing the problems they are facing while implementing NDAL and IVFRT projects in their respective districts and the solutions.

The program was covered by Local News Channel and telecasted the same for the general awareness of all the people in Mizoram.
