Launch of eHospital in Civil Hospital, Sector 45, Chandigarh

A 50-bedded new Civil Hospital was inaugurated in Sector 45 Chandigarh  by Mr Vijay Kumar Dev, IAS, Adviser to the Administrator, UT Chandigarh  on 6th  Jan, 2016. Also present on the occasion were Mr Anurag Agarwal,IAS,  Home Secretary cum Health Secretary. Dr. V K Gagneja,  Director health Services, Mr Mukesh Anand, Chief Engineer and senior officers of Chandigarh Administration.

The hospital has the facility of 7 departments, including Emergency, and  would decrease the rush at PGI, GMCH 32 and GMSH 16. On the occasion, the Adviser also started the OPD Registration (New Patients) process through the Cloud Based e-Hospital (HMIS) system developed by NIC. He appreciated the efforts put in by NIC in starting the services and encouraged to provide more citizen centric services to make the life simpler and easier for a common man.  Dedicated counters have been made in the newly built hospital that would cater to the rush of patients in a smooth and efficient manner.  The services have been rolled out because of consistent support provided by Health Informatics Division NIC Headquarters and NIC Tripura Team. Gradually the following modules of eHospital will be implemented  –

·          OPD Registration (Re-Visit)

·          Casualty Registration

·          IPD Registration

·          ADT Module -Admission, Discharge and Transfer 

·          Billing Module
