The ongoing sequence of Awareness Creation & Familiarisation programmes are currently being conducted for C-Form (Foreign Traveller's Hotel stay information online submission) & S-Form (Students of foreign origin information submission online) all over Kerala. In this series, a day’s Training-cum-Workshop was conducted in Alappuzha District at Hotel Pagoda on 30/10/2013. The Workshop was jointly conducted by Kerala Houseboat Tourism Association Alappuzha and FRO Office Alappuzha.
Sh. D. Mohanan, Dy. Superintendent of Police (Crime) welcomed the guests. Sh. P. K. Vijyappan Special Branch Dy. S. P inaugurated the conference. He elaborated the need of entering the stay details of all tourists visiting the district in the IVFRT project c-Form online submission. About 140 participants had represented 147 institutions consists of spa owners, hoteliers, restaurants, boat service owners etc. District Informatics Officer, NIC Smt. Parvathi Devi had extended all support in conducting the training program. NIC IVFRT team consisting of Sh. T. R. Vinod Kumar, Principal Systems Analyst and Sh. A. G. Pradeep Singh, Senior Systems Analyst demonstrated video presentations on IVFRT project, On-line registration procedure for C-Form submission and the approval process of access to the online system. In the post tea session, On-line data entry of C-form and report generation was also explained to the participants with the help of video inputs. AFRO Sh.Rajan Chenguni handled the feedback session along with FRO Officers and NIC Officers. The workshop ended with heartfelt vote of thanks to all.
