Honorable Prime Minister Assam Visit: NIC provides Video Conference Connectivity and ICT Support

During Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's two-day visit to Assam on September 13-14, 2025, NIC Assam State Centre successfully setup video conferencing services and provided  ICT support across four locations in the state: Mangaldoi, Golaghat, Jorhat and Guwahati. The robust VC service enabled the Hon’ble Prime Minister to address gatherings and interact with officials and citizens through video conferencing during his visit that saw the inauguration and foundation stone laying of key development projects.

The NIC Assam team, working under the guidance of the VC Division, NIC Headquarters, and coordinated by the state centre leadership, established robust video conferencing connectivity across all four venues at short notice. NIC Assam’s teams guided and monitored the ICT operations, ensuring uninterrupted broadcast and efficient on-site support.
