eChallan application inaugurated in Aizawl, Mizoram

Chief Quest the Honourable Home Minister Shri Lalchamliana  inaugurate the launching of e-Challan

The inauguration of e-Challan for Traffic Police Aizawl was held on 13rd December 2019 Friday 1:00PM in the Aizawl Police Station Complex. The inauguration was chaired by Shri John Neihlaia IPS, IGP (Hqrs) Mizoram with a short welcome speech.   Shri S.B.K Singh  IPS, DGP Mizoram delivered a detailed speech regarding the benefits of   e-Challan and appreciated the efforts of NIC Mizoram for the hard work.
Dr. Ram Krushna Das, State Informatics Officer, NIC Mizoram highlighted the Technical aspects of  e-Challan. Shri Rodingliana Chawngthu Sr. SP, Traffic presented the features and demonstrate workflow on e-Challan. Chief Guest   Hon’ble Home Minister Shri Lalchamliana  inaugurate the  e-Challan system.  The Hon’ble Home Minister also appreciated the efforts of NIC and SP Traffic.
The inauguration programme was attended by Officials and staff from Aizawl Police Department, National Informatics Centre Aizawl, Mizoram and HDFC bank. There were around 100 participants in the inauguration programme.
Other then computer system the e-Challan system will be implemented on two device namely

  1. Fablets – Aizawl Traffic Police has 100 fablets out of which 20 fablets were already on the run and around 40 challan being issued so far.
  2. PAX A920 ezetap MPOS – Aizawl Traffic Police tie up with HDFC bank for online payment where the bank provide 10 PAX A920 ezetap MPOS devices. The device enable for atm card payment for spot payment of challaning.
