DG (NIC) visits Commercial Taxes Office, Varanasi on 5th Sept 2014

Dr.  Ajay Kumar, IAS, Joint Sect, DeitY and DG, NIC visited  Commercial Tax Office, Chetganj, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh along with Dr. Saurabh Gupta, SIO(UP), Mr. Abhay Chaudhary, DIO, NIC, Varanasi and other senior officers of NIC, UP on 5th Sept 2014.

A Presentation of  Vanijykar Automation System (VYAS) was given by Smt Seema Saroj, Asst. Commissioner, Varanasi. The department gave presentation on various web based dealer services like E-Registration, E-Sancharan, E-Paragaman, E-return, Net Payment etc. DG, NIC was also appraised about the various intranet services available to commercial taxes officers like Information Sharing System, Notice/Order enforcement module etc.
DG, NIC appreciated the work done by commercial taxes officers on software developed by NIC,UP. He also advised to use maximum benefit of technology.
The presentation was attended by Senior officers from NIC, UP and NIC Varanasi along with  and Joint Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Asst. Commissioner & Commercial Tax Officer.s
