CPCB-eSamikSha online system for monitoring and compliance mechanism launched by Shri Anil Madhav Dave Honourable Environment Minister, on 23rd Nov, 2016.

Shri Anil Madhav Dave, Minister of State (Independent Charge) of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC), launched the CPCB-eSamikSha Portal on 23rd November, 2016 in the 61st Conference of Chairmen & Member Secretaries of Pollution Control Boards and Pollution Control Committees at Indian Habitat Centre, Lohdi Road, New Delhi.

Shri Ajay Narayan Jha, Secretary, MoEF&CC, Shri S.P.S Parihar, Chairman, CPCB, Dr A.B Akolkar, Member Secretary, CPCB, Member Secretaries of State Pollution Control Boards and Pollution Control Committees, Dr. Shubhag Chand, HoD, Cabinet Secretariat Informatics Division and other senior dignitaries were also present at the day-long Launch/Conference.

During the launch Shri Anil Madhav Dave, Hon’ble Environment Minister said that there is a need to feel the pulse of the people and complaints of the people must be addressed. He emphasized a collective approach to work. Shri Dave has said that the style of working needs to be converted into E-governance, for which eSamikSha would be a helpful tool, eSamikSha will not only correct the style of functioning, but will also bring about a transformation, make it a result-oriented approach to work.

After Shri Dave, an introductory speech was given by Dr. Shubhag Chand HoD, Cabinet Secretariat Informatics Division with a brief description about the CPCB-eSamiksha portal. eSamikSha, an online Monitoring and Compliance Mechanism system, developed by Cabinet Secretariat Informatics Division, to fast track the compliance of pending action points, proposal, targets, etc. of Various Ministry/Department/Organization/Agency of Govt. of India and Government of States/UTs. The Portal has been designed in such a way that it will enhance efficiency, bring transparency, reduce the need of protracted correspondence and improve the communication between Government to Government (G2G) and Government to Business (G2B) and vise-versa.

The launch session was called with the vote of thanks and concluding remarks by Shri S.P.S Parihar, Chairman, CPCB.
