Chhattisgarh@25: PM Modi Dedicates Landmark Institutions in Nawa Raipur

Marking the Silver Jubilee of Chhattisgarh’s formation, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated a series of landmark projects in Nawa Raipur today. The celebrations showcased the State’s growing commitment to democratic development, cultural heritage, and public welfare.

The event was attended by Governor Shri Ramen Deka, Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, and several other dignitaries.

New Chhattisgarh Assembly Building Inaugurated

The Prime Minister dedicated the newly constructed Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Building to the people. During the ceremony, he unveiled a statue of Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, planted a Rudraksh sapling, and released Utkarsh, a commemorative souvenir marking 25 years of the Assembly’s parliamentary journey.

Calling the new complex a “temple of democracy,” Shri Modi stated that the building symbolizes Chhattisgarh’s growing potential and its commitment to transparent governance.

Shanti Shikhar Complex Dedicated to the Nation

Prime Minister Modi also inaugurated the Shanti Shikhar Complex located in Nawa Raipur. He planted a Rudraksh sapling on the premises and described the complex as a symbol of peace, development, and prosperity.

PM Interacts with Children Battling Heart Disease

At Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital, the Prime Minister addressed the “Dil Ki Baat” programme, where he interacted with 2,500 children who overcame congenital heart conditions under the “Gift of Life” initiative.

He praised the children for their courage and positivity and encouraged them to adopt yoga, discipline, and healthy habits for a better future.

The Prime Minister also urged them to join the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign to express gratitude toward Mother Earth.

During the event, young participants shared inspiring stories — including a girl who, after recovering, won five hockey medals and now dreams of becoming a doctor. Another child recited a motivational poem, appreciated warmly by the Prime Minister.

These landmark inaugurations and social initiatives underline the Government’s dedication to strengthening democratic institutions, honoring tribal heritage, and advancing health and well-being in Chhattisgarh as the State enters a new chapter in its journey of development.
