In an effort to implement the Aadhar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS) for marking the presence of government employees across all state offices, a hands-on training session was conducted today, December 3, 2025, for all officers and staff working at the Collector's Office.
The training focused on the self-registration process on the official portal, https://cggad.attendance.gov.in/. Participants were also guided to install the mobile applications AadharBAS and AadharFaceRD on their devices.
Process Overview: Users can only register their attendance after the Collectorate's appointed Nodal Officer activates their profile via their login credentials, following the self-registration on the portal.
Hands-on Approach: The entire procedure was explained through a detailed hands-on training to ensure employees do not face any technical difficulties in the future.
Collector Sets the Example
The implementation began with the District Collector. The Collector was first briefed about the new attendance system, after which her self-registration was completed on the portal, and her attendance was successfully recorded using the new method.
Following the Collector's instructions, all Collectorate employees were provided with this training to ensure that they will record their attendance using the AEBAS process going forward.
The training was conducted by the District Informatics Officer, Koriya.
