NICSI celebrated its Silver Jubilee on 28 Jan 2021 at a formal event at Vigyan Bhawan, Delhi. Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, Hon'ble Union Minister for Law & Justice, Communications and Electronics & IT  was the chief guest and the esteemed dignitaries at the dais were Shri Ajay Sawhney, Secretary, MeitY, Shri C. P. Gurnani, CEO, Tech Mahindra India, Ms. Debjani Ghosh, President, NASSCOM, Dr. Neeta Verma, Director General, NIC, Dr. Rajendra Kumar, Additional Secretary, MeitY and Chairman, NICSI, Shri Prashant Kumar Mittal, MD, NICSI.

DG, NIC addressed the Responsible AI for Social Empowerment (RAISE 2020) Virtual Summit

Dr. Neeta Verma, Director General, NIC highlighted the innovative use of Artificial Intelligence and some of its prominent applications in e-Gov solutions and services during a session on “AI for All – Partnerships for Making AI Accessible & driving Innovation” at the RAISE 2020 Virtual Summit on 08th October 2020.

A keynote address on “Digital Transformation in Times of Pandemic” was delivered by Dr. Neeta Verma, Director General, NIC at the National Governance Virtual Summit held on 19th June 2020, hosted by ETGoverment. Address by Sh. Nitish Kumar, Chief Minister, Bihar to Panchayat Representatives through Webcasting service of NIC

Two one-day Orientation Programme for newly elected 3-tier Panchayat Representatives were conducted on 21st and 22nd July 2016 at State / District level by Panchayati Raj Department, Govt. of Bihar. Shri Nitish Kumar, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Bihar addressed the Panchayat Representatives both days during the programme through Webcasting service of NIC from the Conference Hall of Main Secretariat, Patna. The programme was conducted under the administrative guidance and functional supervision of Shri Arvind Kumar Choudhary, IAS, Secretary, Panchayati Raj Department, Govt.

Honorable Prime Minister of India Dedicates Three Power Projects to the Nation using NIC VC

Sh. Narinder Modi, Honorable Prime Minister of India dedicated three power projects to the nation from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh using National Informatics Centre, Video Conferencing facility at 11:30AM on 18th of October 2016. The three power projects are NTPC’s Koldam – 800MW, NHPC’s Parbati – 520 MW and SJVNL’s Rampur – 412 MW. The teams of NTPC, NHPC and SJVNL were supported by the NIC team which provided technical support to conduct the VC.

Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh Inaugurates Tourist Amenities Through NIC VC

To facilitate the visitors and providing recreational facilities to the children, Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh inaugurated the ‘Water Park’ at Sadhupul, besides other two upgraded way-side amenities of tourism department at Bhararighat in Solan district and at Sombhadra in district Una. The inaugurations were performed online through video-conferencing from Oak Over, the official residence of the Chief Minister on 30th June 2017.

Honourable Chief Minister Himachal Pradesh Interacts with Citizen Over NIC VC during Launch of JAN MANCH program

Sh. Jai Ram Thakur, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh launched a new program "Jan-Manch" on 26th May 2018. The program aims to provide various services to common citizen at the field level by organising monthly camps in remote areas. The officers of concerned District from various departments will be available to the public on the defined venue and day in this camp. One of the ministers will also be attending the camp.
