Patna District - Combating Covid-19 pandemic situations with efficient ICT interventions and Management

Patna became the first district to implement the e-Pass system of NIC in Bihar. With the application, a web portal was also created to enable citizens apply for e-Pass with much ease. The system has benefitted many who were stranded due to medical or other emergency reasons at various places in the District. In addition, Video Conferencing facility of National Informatics Centre is used by NIC-Patna to facilitated easy communication among various levels of Officials of the State Government during the pandemic period.

NIC work for ICT Support to State appreciated by the Chief Secretary Assam

Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal reviewed the progress of Human Resource Management System (HRMS) implementation on 16/11/2020

Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal directed the officers concerned including the Boards, Corporations, Universities etc.  to upload the data of all the employees on the Human Resource Management System (HRMS) by the concerned Nodal Officers by November 30, 2020. The HRMS application is designed and developed by NIC-Haryana.

Assam Transport Minister appreciates NIC role

Guwahati, February 04, 2020: The Hon’ble Transport Minister of Assam Shri Chandra Mohan Patowary today took a Comprehensive Review on Performance & Infrastructure of District Transport Officers’  at the Assam Administrative Staff College in Guwahati . The review was attended by all the District Transport Officers of Assam and was conducted in the presence of the Commissioner & Secretary, Transport, Shri KK Dwivedi, the Commissioner Transport, Shri Adil Khan and the Transport Project Coordinator of NIC, Shri Rubaiyat-ul Ali.

The visit of Shri Sanjay Dhotre, Hon'ble Minister of State to NIC State Centre was scheduled at 11.00 am of 16th January 2020.

Hon’ble Minister took a complete tour of NDC Bhubaneshwar facilities. Hon’ble Minister joined at the NOC for detailed presentation.

DDG & State Co-ordinator, Assam takes VC session with NIC Assam officials on New Year 2020

On the occasion of New Year on 1st January 2020, the State Co-ordinator of Assam, Shri D.C.Misra, DDG, NIC, addressed all the NIC officials of Assam over VC, at the State Centre and in all the districts of Assam. After wishing Happy New Year to all the officials, he hoped that the New Year will see greater success in all the initiatives taken up by NIC Assam. He gave a patient hearing to all DIOs in the districts who highlighted achievements, work areas and any issues they may be facing.
