With release of Revised Estimate (RE) for Financial Year 2020-21, Government of Punjab has shifted to next-gen Integrated Financial Management System (IFMS) developed by NIC Punjab.In addition to usual features of an IFMS like planning, budgeting, receipt, expenditure, bill and payment processing, this new IFMS has a lot of new state-ofthe-art features which make it a next-gen portal.
Prayas provides powerful visualizations, robust analytics and actionable insights to enable Government to align well with key policy makers and program executioners. This platform with consolidated view of 100+ schemes and 600+ KPIs paves the path for better Governance.The platform today visualizes the progress status of more than 100 schemes including PM Ayushman Bharat-Jan Arogya Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, MGNREGA, PM Gram Sadak Yojana, PM Fasal Bima Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, PM Jan Dhan Yojana, Swachch Bharat Mission etc.
A significant step was taken in the year 2009, to transform the then existing ICES Application to a uniform and centralized software which culminated successfully with the launch of ICES 1.5. Thus the de-centralized application gave way to a robust central server based application. The many features of this application include single sign-on and central management of sites/ users by the National System Manager, Consolidation of Data for National Level MIS ,ntralized Directory Management,License and Bond Management and standardized procedures across the country.

This website seamlessly integrates a wide array of innovative technologies - the web, SMS, Mobile Apps, Digital Signature, SFTP, XML.
Guwahati, March 26, 2021: The Assam Police has become the second State Force in the Country to have automated and randomized its deployment for elections with the commissioning of the NIC-developed online Force Deployment Software for the first phase of the ensuing Legislative Assembly elections in Assam.

Assam's 'Ease of Doing Business' project bags Award of Appreciation in 18th CSI SIG eGovernance Awards 2020
‘Ease of Doing Business in Assam’, a flagship initiative of Government of Assam developed by NIC. Assam bagged the 18th CSI SIG eGovernance Award, in the Project Category – Award of Appreciation. National Informatics Centre is the Technology partner of Government of Assam for the Department of Industries and Commerce. The EoDB portal and services were developed using the ‘ServicePlus’ platform. The 18th CSI SIG eGovernance awards were presented at a function at at Taj Mahal, in Lucknow on February 12th, 2021 by Hon’ble Chief Minister Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath.
Subsequent to the trainings that were imparted to seven Districts of Assam after the pilot implementation, KRITAGYATA had reached a milestone of distributing 114 number of PPOs (Pension Payment Orders) on the next day of retirement to the retirees of the above districts of Assam.

Hon'ble Minister for Pension & Public Grievances Assam, Shri Phani Bhushan Choudhury, distributed Pension Payment Orders (PPO) to retirees in a ceremonial function on 7th January 2021, organised by the District Administration of Bongaigaon district. The PPOs were generated through KRITAGYATA portal for all 24 retirees who retired on 31st December 2020, under Inspector of Schools, Deputy Inspector of Schools and DEO.
Guwahati, October 01, 2020: In a very thoughtful step to simplify and facilitate pension disbursement to retired employees, Hon’ble Assam Chief Minister of Assam Shri Sarbananda Sonowal flagged off the pilot implementation of the National Informatics Centre (NIC)-developed Online Pension Sanction and Payment Tracking System christened Kritagyata on October 01, 2020. Kritagyata is the customized version of ‘Bhavishya’, the product developed by NIC for the Dept of Pension & Pensioners Welfare, GoI.
