Karnataka State - Architecting digital solutions and delivering key ICT services to the Government

NIC Karnataka State Centre has been instrumental in designing, developing and implementing e-Governance solutions, which resulted in digital transformation in the State at all levels and has helped in achieving transparency and efficiency in the delivery of the citizen centric services. NIC has set up the Centre of Excellence in Blockchain Technology in Bengaluru with a vision to build niche applications using Blockchain in close coordination with the Government.

e-Counselling services developed by NIC are the result of a focussed effort to put the best use of technology for bringing transparency in the admission process of the educational institutions in our country. This has also led to the implementation of a common selection process across universities. The stakeholders can now conveniently participate in the admission process for higher education.

Appreciation from Govt. of Assam to NIC Assam for valuable contribution in the fight against Covid 19

In recognition of the work done by NIC Assam in the fight against Covd-19, the Government of Assam presented the certificate of appreciation in a ceremony on 20th February 2021 at Guwahati Medical College Hospital (GMCH) Auditorium. Honourable Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Finance, PWD etc, Dr.Himanta Biswa Sarma, presented the Certificate to the NIC team of Smt.Suchitra Pyarelal,SIO Assam, Smt.Naina Begum, HoD VC Division, Sh.Rahul Deka, Scientist C and Sh. Assam's 'Ease of Doing Business' project bags Award of Appreciation in 18th CSI SIG eGovernance Awards 2020

‘Ease of Doing Business in Assam’, a flagship initiative of Government of Assam developed by NIC. Assam bagged the 18th CSI SIG eGovernance Award, in the Project Category – Award of Appreciation. National Informatics Centre is the Technology partner of Government of Assam for the Department of Industries and Commerce. The EoDB portal and services were developed using the ‘ServicePlus’ platform. The 18th CSI SIG eGovernance awards were presented at a function at at Taj Mahal, in Lucknow on February 12th, 2021 by Hon’ble Chief Minister Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath.
