Direct Benefit Transfer - Supporting the financial Institution of the government during the crisis of COVID-19

Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) plays an important role during the crisis times to provide sustenance to the highly effected population such as farmers, daily wagers, migrant labours etc. by transferring cash benefits directly to their bank accounts as well as delivering in-kind benefits such as free food grains. DBT had established itself prior to the COVID-19 crisis leveraging on the Aadhaar and banking infrastructure.

e-Counselling services developed by NIC are the result of a focussed effort to put the best use of technology for bringing transparency in the admission process of the educational institutions in our country. This has also led to the implementation of a common selection process across universities. The stakeholders can now conveniently participate in the admission process for higher education.

Inauguration of Poll - Sampark Mobile App developed by NIC Golaghat

“Poll - Sampark” -an android app was designed by Abhjit Kakoty DIO Golaghat and Sushruta Rajkhowa ADIO Golaghat under District Governance Mobile initiative. The Poll - Sampark mobile app is aimed at helping the polling personnel engaged in Assembly Election 2021 by providing various critical and time-bound information such as poll day information, training information, decoding centre information, sector and zonal officer information, presiding officer compendium etc.

Hon'ble Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh Launches Him Atithi Portal for Government Guest Houses

Sh. Jai Ram Thakur, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh launched the Him Atithi-Room Reservation System for online booking of Government Guest Houses on 23-February-2021 at Shimla. The portal enables Government employees and other people to apply online for booking of these Government Guest Houses at Shimla, Chandigarh and New Delhi. He expressed hope that the new system will bring transparency and fairness in the allotment system as the demand is always in excess of the available rooms at these locations.

Ceremonial Distribution of Pension Payment Orders (PPO) generated through KRITAGYATA portal, on 7th January 2021

Hon'ble Minister for Pension & Public Grievances Assam, Shri Phani Bhushan Choudhury, distributed Pension Payment Orders (PPO) to retirees in a ceremonial function on 7th January 2021, organised by the District Administration of Bongaigaon district. The PPOs were generated through KRITAGYATA portal for all 24 retirees who retired on 31st December 2020, under Inspector of Schools, Deputy Inspector of Schools and DEO.

Launch of CCTV-ITMS in Smart City Dharamshala, Kangra, Himachal Pradesh

Sh. Rakesh Kumar Prajapati, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Kangra launched the CCTV based Intelligent Traffic Management System (ITMS) at Dharamshala on 5th November 2020. NIC has developed ITMS, which is integrated with eChallan application of State Government. It has been implemented on pilot basis in Smart City Dharamshala, District Kangra Himachal Pradesh. ITMS plays a key role in shaping the city traffic to the next level by reducing traffic violation.  This system will eliminate the need for physical deployment of law enforcement officers on the road and will work on 24x7 basis. Hon'ble Revenue Minister, Himachal Pradesh Launches Roznamcha Software in District Mandi

 
Sh. Mahender Singh Thakur, Hon'ble Revenue Minister, Himachal Pradesh launched the Roznamcha Management System software in District Mandi on 17th August 2020. Roznamcha is a diary of daily incidents maintained by the Patwari, who is the grass-root revenue officer in Revenue Administration, under executive instructions issued from time to time. The Patwari makes an entry for each day mentioning briefly about the incidents happened in his area. 

Release of new version of Covid Suraksha 2.0 by Honble Health Minister of Assam

 
The new version of Covid Suraksha 2.0 with geo-fencing technology was launched by Sh.Himanta Biswa Sarma, Honble Minister of Health and Finance on 6th June 2020 in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Jorhat and other Senior functionaries. The app was functioning in many districts from April with monitoring of the quarantine people by the Health workers module. The following new features were added based on the request from Deputy Commissioner Jorhat.
