Maharashtra State - A pioneering Digital State

NIC Maharashtra State Centre at Mumbai and 36 NIC District Centres of Maharashtra are successfully providing digital services to Maharashtra State
in this challenging time. The focus and strategy are on sustaining the digital services as the number of users of online services are increasing.
With a view to augment the web hosting services, mini cloud data centre is being set up at NIC Belapur, Navi Mumbai. The network services are also strengthened at NKN PoP NIC Belapur.

Karnataka State - Architecting digital solutions and delivering key ICT services to the Government

NIC Karnataka State Centre has been instrumental in designing, developing and implementing e-Governance solutions, which resulted in digital transformation in the State at all levels and has helped in achieving transparency and efficiency in the delivery of the citizen centric services.
NIC has set up the Centre of Excellence in Blockchain Technology in Bengaluru with a vision to build niche applications using Blockchain in close coordination with the Government.

Launch of Himachal Pradesh Agriculture Produce Procurement Portal

The Himachal Pradesh Agriculture Produce Procurement Portal has been launched on 11th October 2021 by Hon’ble Member of Assembly from Chintpurni, Sh. Balbir Singh in Una. Sh. Balbir Bagga, Chairperson, Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee, Una, Joint Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Panchayat Pradhan, District Informatics Officer, NIC Una, Deputy Director Agriculture, Una District Food and Supplies Controller, Una were present on the occasion.

Hon'ble Union Minister Interacts Virtually with PM Garib Kalyan Ann Yojna Beneficiaries of Himachal Pradesh

Sh. Piyush Goyal, Hon’ble Union Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution  visited Shimla on 25th September 2021 to interact virtually with the beneficiaries of Prime Minister Garib Kalyan Ann Yojna using NIC VC facility. Sh. Jai Ram Thakur, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh, Hon’ble Food and Civil Supplies Minister, Hon’ble Urban Development Minister, Secretary PDS, Government of India, Chief Secretary and other officers were present on the occasion. Hon'ble Prime Minister's Interaction with Covid Vaccine Beneficiaries and Officials of Himachal Pradesh

Sh. Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, interacted with the beneficiaries and Health officials of Himachal Pradesh on 6th September 2021 on achieving the hundred percent target of Covid19 vaccine vaccination. He appreciated the fact the Himachal Pradesh reached this milestone ahead of all other States despite the difficult geographical and weather conditions. Vaccine beneficiaries from Hamirpur, Lahaul and Spiti and Mandi districts interacted with the Hon’ble Prime Minister. Health officer, Asha worker and Anganwadi worker from Kullu, Shimla and Una interacted.

Honble Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh launches HP State Food Commission Website

Sh. Jai Ram Thakur, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh launched the Himachal Pradesh Food Commission website on First September 2021 at Shimla. The Chairperson of the Commission, Dr. Surender Singh Ghongrokta, thanked hon’ble Chief Minister for launching the website and expressed hope that it will meet the expectations of citizens.

Hon'ble Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh Launches HP Water Bills Mobile App

Sh. Jai Ram Thakur, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh launched the HP Water Bills mobile app on 22 March 2021, at Janjaheli, District Mandi, on the occasion of World Water day, in the presence of Hon’ble Jal Shakti Minister Sh. Mahender Singh. On this occasion, a presentation was given, by Sh. Sanjay Thakur, Technical Director from the software development team, from NIC, HP State Centre, Shimla, explaining the functionality of this mobile app.
