Symposium on Data Analytics on 1 Dec 2021 at Assam Administrative Staff College in collaboration with NIC Assam

A one day symposium on “Data Analytics” was held at the Assam Administrative Staff College, Government of Assam. The event was held in collaboration with the Centre of E-Governance, Assam Administrative Staff College, Guwahati and National Informatics Centre, Assam and Centre of Excellence for Data Analytics (CEDA). The Symposium was attended by the Officers of various Departments of Government of Assam.

Hon'ble Prime Minister Virtually Inaugurates 82nd All India Presiding Officers Conference at HP Vidhan Sabha

Sh. Narendra Modi, Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, virtually inaugurated the 82nd All India Presiding Officers Conference and 58th Conference of Secretaries of Legislative Bodies in India, on 17th November 2021. These Conferences were organized at Himachal Pradesh Vishan Sabha, Shimla from 16 to 19 November 2021 to commemorate the Centennial Year of the Conference as the first All India Presiding Officers Conference was held at Shimla in the year 1921.

NIC Chhattisgarh presented on Tele-Practice during Jawaharlal Nehru National Education Conclave

Government of Chhattisgarh has organised Jawaharlal Nehru National Education Conclave during 14th& 15th Nov 2021, in which 27 states and 2 union territories participated. Honorable Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel released the document ‘Vision 2030 for Education’. The conclave has been addressed by Nobel laureate Dr. Abhijeet Benarjee and eight panel discussions have been chaired by different education experts.

Maharashtra State - A pioneering Digital State

NIC Maharashtra State Centre at Mumbai and 36 NIC District Centres of Maharashtra are successfully providing digital services to Maharashtra State
in this challenging time. The focus and strategy are on sustaining the digital services as the number of users of online services are increasing.
With a view to augment the web hosting services, mini cloud data centre is being set up at NIC Belapur, Navi Mumbai. The network services are also strengthened at NKN PoP NIC Belapur.

Patna District - Combating Covid-19 pandemic situations with efficient ICT interventions and Management

Patna became the first district to implement the e-Pass system of NIC in Bihar. With the application, a web portal was also created to enable citizens apply for e-Pass with much ease. The system has benefitted many who were stranded due to medical or other emergency reasons at various places in the District. In addition, Video Conferencing facility of National Informatics Centre is used by NIC-Patna to facilitated easy communication among various levels of Officials of the State Government during the pandemic period.

Online Booking System of BCD - ICT-driven Solution for Building Construction Department, Bihar

After a year of implementation of these digitization processes, the Building Construction Department, Govt. of Bihar was able to approve around 240
booking of Bhawan and after implementation, during 2018-2019, 2019-2020 revenue of Rs. 4.96 Crore and Rs. 5.48 Crore was generated respectively
through online booking. Revenue earning was increased twofold after implementation of online booking. Through online internship around 150 students
got registered and project report was submitted after successful completion of internship programme.

Hon'ble Union Minister Interacts Virtually with PM Garib Kalyan Ann Yojna Beneficiaries of Himachal Pradesh

Hon'ble Prime Minister's Interaction with Covid Vaccine Beneficiaries and Officials of Himachal Pradesh

Sh. Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, interacted with the beneficiaries and Health officials of Himachal Pradesh on 6th September 2021 on achieving the hundred percent target of Covid19 vaccine vaccination. He appreciated the fact the Himachal Pradesh reached this milestone ahead of all other States despite the difficult geographical and weather conditions. Vaccine beneficiaries from Hamirpur, Lahaul and Spiti and Mandi districts interacted with the Hon’ble Prime Minister. Health officer, Asha worker and Anganwadi worker from Kullu, Shimla and Una interacted.
